About Me
Greetings!
I am Mr. AJ Risedorph. It has always been a passion of mine to become an educator. During my college and professional tenure, I worked with transitional school districts and excellent mentors. From student teaching at Snider High School in Fort Wayne, I was able to gain valuable experience in an Honors World History and AP US History class. At East Noble Middle School, I was able to participate and aide in the corporation’s transition to a 1-to-1 school. Currently, I am educating students at NorthWood High School in Nappanee, IN. I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of students, as well as, many amazing teachers at NorthWood. I am blessed to play a small role in the shaping the lives of these students. Ultimately, it is my goal to become the best educator for each of my students and eventually reaching the status of National Teacher of the Year. Sincerely, Mr. AJ Risedorph Social Studies Educator Student Council Co-Sponsor Varsity Baseball Head Coach Varsity Asst. Basketball |

My work in the classroom has brought me to the realization that you must recognize that individuals often have distinctly different responses to the learning process. As such, you must as an educator adjust your teaching approach and methods to account for individual differences.
There have been a variety of methods and theories that I have been acquainted with through my collegiate experience as well as my professional experiences. The ideas in which I have been organizing my methods is based on creating a positive learning environment, showing true concern for each of my students, and varying teaching methods so that children with a variety of learning types can acquire knowledge. In doing this, I ensure that each and every one of my students has an equal opportunity to succeed in and out of my classroom. |
